The True Meaning of Pain
“To live is to feel pain, he told himself, and to live in fear of pain is to refuse to live.” -Paul Auster. “Baumgartner.”
To live is to feel pain, to feel pain is to live. Those go hand in hand with each other and you cannot have one without the other. Life is so many things but most of all its pain. Now this may seem negative but pain is good and bad, as with everything on this world there is balance. Too much of it can leave someone hopeless feeling that the only way out is death, too little can leave someone with a skewed way of how the world works therefore making them an incomplete person.
But life is pain, pain is how you know your alive, when you are born they hit you so you can feel pain, cry, and show signs of life. A mother feels pain to bring life into the world, a child will only learn certain lessons through pain, and those dying say that they no longer feel pain as the life drains out of them. There are so many negatives in the world but pain is not one of them.
